Elizabeth G. Howard (she/her) explores gender, power, and the natural world in her poetry, fiction, and digital art. In her digital marketing work, she supports artists, musicians, and nonprofits building their brands and audiences. She’s been published nationally and internationally, including Tupelo Press, Boston Literary Magazine, American Craft, eMerge, and Bentlily. She’s a Writer’s Colony of Dairy Hollow resident, a 2023 Artists Leadership Fellow, and a 2022 Artists Inc. Fellow, and a member of the American Society of Poets. Deborah Shouse is a writer, editor, laughter facilitator, and dementia advocate.
She has an MBA but uses it only in emergencies. She is the author of Love in the Land of Dementia: Finding Hope in the Caregiver’s Journey and Connecting in the Land of Dementia: Creative Activities to Explore Together. Right after she completed her debut novel: An Old Woman Walks Into a Bar, Deborah’s older adult daughter died from an accidental drug overdose. Deborah's book, Letters from the Ungrateful Dead: A Grieving Mom’s Surprising Correspondence with her Deceased Adult Daughter, reflects her love for and her desire to stay connected with her daughter.

Sandy Hazlett’s poetry has been published in several journals including Coal City Review, I-70 Review and Quattrocento. Her poems have also been included in several anthologies. Her chapbook, The Prom Dress Room, was published by Anamcara Press and is included in her latest book, Where Have You Been?, which was published by Anamcara Press in 2024. Sandy recently sold her farm and now lives in Old West Lawrence.
